The Look
Easy to navigate, racing lines right on the main page. They also give a list of live TV events, because betting on games that you can watch is always better than betting on games you can't. Otherwise, you have to keep hitting the refresh button until you drive yourself insane waiting for updates.
Deposits/Withdrawals
Deposits can be made through UK-issued Visa or Mastercards, Switch, Delta and Solo. I have no idea what those last three things are.
Wagering
You can bet on various UK and Irish sports, such as Gaelic football and hurling. UKBetting, or whatever their name is, also offers tons of racing options for both greyhounds and horses. They claim to offer American football as well, but the only thing offered are division props. Not much else besides straight bet action. Fairly mundane.
Bonuses and Extras
At UKBetting you can win VIP tickets to events like the King George VI meeting at Kempton Park. I have no idea why that would be appealing to anyone, but then again, I'm American. Other promos include a 25 pound free bet and a 25 pound match of the first deposit.
Another feature at UKBetting is a radio feature, which gives you previews and commentaries on upcoming sporting events. I'd give you more information, but the link was dead.
Customer Service
Customer service lines are open during regular business hours. Phone lines are rarely tied down, being that they deal primarily with UK customers. TotalBet.com, er, UKBetting warns you that calls may be monitored for training purposes. This review is being monitored for training purposes. Training retards.
Player Reviews/Forums
It's very difficult to find any opinions on overseas sites. If you have one, feel free to let us know, because I couldn't find one. And browsing too many sites could result in herpes. Or so that's what the voice in my head tells me.
Verdict
Cousins, identical cousins; they walk alike, they talk alike - and why shouldn't they? They're both Patty Duke. And both TotalBet.com and UKBetting are subsidiaries of UKBetting. What does it all mean? Well, if you're a US resident and ineligible for registering, it means absolutely nothing. And if you're not, then you have to decide - Mary Kate or Ashley?
